"Because I Am Catholic"

Ways to Give

The Catholic Charities Appeal is a separately incorporated 501c3 non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors.

You may contribute to the Catholic Charities Appeal in many ways:

Pledge Gift

A gift to the Catholic Charities Appeal may be paid weekly, monthly, quarterly and semi-annually. If possible, please include your first month’s payment when you mail your gift card envelope. You will then receive a monthly statement.

One Time Gift

Checks should be made payable to the “Catholic Charities Appeal.”

Credit Card Gifts

You can use your MasterCard, Visa, and American Express cards to make your Appeal gift. A credit card gift can be made by mail, online, or with your pledge card, and can be paid in installments.

Matching Gifts

Would you like to double your gift? Numerous companies match Catholic Charities Appeal gifts designated to Catholic Social Service and Education. Please contact your employer to verify and receive more information on their Matching Gift Program.

Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)

This can be arranged through your bank.

Gifts of Securities

A gift of appreciated securities is one way to make a significant contribution at a reduced cost to you. Federal tax laws allow a charitable deduction for the full market value of securities on the date of your gift

Planned Gifts

Planned giving integrates personal, financial and estate planning goals with lifetime or testamentary charitable giving. It encompasses a variety of philanthropic strategies that help a donor provide for the Church while also advancing their own financial and personal objectives. Some forms of Planned Giving to consider include Bequest, Charitable Gift Annuity, Charitable Lead Trust and gift of life insurance
